Professional TeacherTitle:
When “Rain” Becomes “Blood” — Be careful with ㅂ and ㅍ! 😅🌧
One day, a student came into class looking very serious and said,
“Teacher, blood/Pi/ is falling outside!” 😨
I was shocked and asked,
“What happened?”
She repeated,
“Pi is coming down!”
That’s when I realized she meant 비 (bi) = rain, not 피 (pi) = blood! 😂
In Korean, the difference between ㅂ (b) and ㅍ (p) is just the strength of your breath —
but it can change the meaning completely!
