This is the oil painting of "nishikigoi(錦鯉)", national fishes of Japan. In my hometown, there is the park you can see koi fishes. There is a pond not so big, and there are many koi fishes and other animals. For example, turtles, little fishes, wild ducks and so on. That view has native beauty and you can be relaxed to see it. It was so difficult to express the water's texture of clear and smooth. Since before, I felt like I want to drow a oil painting that has Japanese atmosphere. So, I'm totally satisfied with my work!
