On Saturday, I joined a small local festival at a welfare facility with my Yosakoi circle. The place was not very big, but it was filled with warm smiles and excitement. We performed our Yosakoi dance in front of the audience, and I felt both nervous and happy at the same time. When we danced together as a team, I could really feel the energy and the strong bond between us. Some of the people in the audience clapped to the rhythm, and that made me even more motivated to dance my best.
After the performance, I walked around the festival with my teammates. There were some food stands and fun activities prepared by the staff. I bought a hot taiyaki, and it was so delicious! It was crispy on the outside, and the sweet filling was really warm inside. I almost burned my tongue, but it made me smile because it tasted like happiness.
Later, I joined a booth where we could make our own badges. I decided to make a matching badge with my teammates. We drew the same picture and turned it into a cute badge. It felt special to have something that connected us even off the stage.
The festival was small, but I had a wonderful time.
