Professional TeacherTip for Using the Simple Future Tense in English
The simple future tense is used to talk about actions or events that will happen in the future. We often use "will" or "going to" for this tense.
Use "will" to express decisions made at the moment or promises:
Example: I will call you later.
Use "going to" to talk about plans or things you already decided:
Example: I am going to visit my friend tomorrow.
Remember to always use the base form of the verb after "will" or "going to."
