I love Fesenjan, a Persian stew! It’s made with walnuts and pomegranate. Tender chicken is simmered in this rich sauce. 😋 When I visited Iran about 10 years ago, I had Fesenjan for the first time. It was absolutely delicious—I had never tasted anything like it before! It was sweet, sour, and had a wonderful chicken flavor.
There are a few Iranian restaurants in Japan, but only a handful serve Fesenjan. I really miss the Fesenjan I had in Iran..!
