Hello community!
I have this doubt
1. He is my friend John, the same who lives with Jack.
2. He is my friend John, the same ONE who lives with Jack.
Is one of them incorrect?
THANKS!

The first one is incorrect. "Same" can function as a pronoun to describe an idea but not a person, place or thing. "Same" is functioning as an adjective here. You need "one" to serve as a pronoun to replace "friend."
