Hey guys. Can you help me to figure out the meaning?
What does the word vicissitude mean? Can we use it when someone changes toward you and he's not consistent about your relationship, or just about the change in your circumstances? I didn't get the meaning.
Thanks in advance.

According to my dictionary it is a change, probably for the worse.

I had to look up this word. I have never heard it before. I'm a native English speaker. It means a change that is unpleasant or unwelcome. Do you have an example of it used in a sentence?
There might be more natural ways to say what you want to say because vicissitude is not an everyday word.
