A hospital is the place where doctors work. Which sounds more natural? Could you give me a more natural example about the unnatural choice? Thank you and good morning. :)

Neither answer the asked question. #2 is factually incorrect since many doctors don’t work in one. #1 is factually correct but doesn’t define a hospital

I would use #1. A place where doctors work means that the hospital is one place where doctors work. The place ...... would mean that the hospital is the only place where doctors work.
