How to know if the past verb is adjective or a verj?I could judge it from the sentence, however,when choosing the right word,I am confused. e.g. How could I know [objected] cannot be an adjective word here. All the selections are ed verd.

This is a very difficult question!!
For English learners, you would think that all the answers are acceptable:
opposed to, protested again .....
Answer opposed to is correct as this is an adjectival verb.
It is not easy.
I am opposed to casinos.
but
I am protested against casinos. X
