Even though I'm a Japanese, I can't taste matcha ice creams, other matcha sweets, and other matcha sweet drinks.
I'm a green tea lover, I also love plain matcha, but I can't enjoy sweet matcha taste, for example matcha latte. I don't think it's delicious...
I'm so sorry to every sweet matcha lovers, but I don't want to add some sugar into all kind of tea. Not only green tea, but also others. For me, the drinks named "tea" are bitter drinks. So I can't drink milk tea either. I can only drink them without milk and sugar.
However, regarding to coffee, I like cafe latte, caramel macchiato, espresso, and so on.
Of course, I love black coffee (I know some countries don't use this word for plain coffee) the best. It's OK for me to add some sweet taste into coffee.
I don't even know why myself.

I you CAN'T TASTE something, that means you literally have no sensation, as if you can't hear, can't see, etc. REGARDING generally doesn't need a preposition.
