St. Valentine's Day is coming soon! In Japan, girls give their boyfriends chocolate. Also, we have the custom in which/where girls give other girls chocolate as "the chocolate for the best friends". (Of course boys can do this too, but I've never seen boys-boys chocolate.) So we can see so many kinds of chocolate sweets in/at the market on these days. In recent years I sometimes see the the chocolates/boxes/productsetc. which contain Japanese Sake or Japanese whisky in ganaches! I understand some people wonder whether Japanese Sake goes well with ganaches or not, but honestly, it's... delicious. So delicious! I attached pictures of Japanese Sake mixed ganaches I ate today (and the Japanese Sake itself). *I know it's not a shape of general ganache. It is called "Nama choco" in Japanese, one of Japanese original chocolate sweets. Its recipe is similar to ganache so I wrote "ganache".
