Could you check my English? I saw a movie called Boau is afraid. It was kind of crazy and creepy. I still don't understand what the movie was about. Joaquin Phoenix's acting was superb, but his English was difficult for me to understand.

Just in my opinion, both "I watched" and "I saw" would work in this context. I've heard people say it both ways 😁 Nice job with this!
