I think teachers, parents and children themselves are three key influencers on a child's academic development, and parents play the most important role among all influencers. Because parents are the first teachers during lifetime of their children, they start to influence children earlier before teachers in schools. Parents can influence their children in everyway a person can be influenced. For example, a child raised by his/her parent no matter how poor or rich, but bring him/her up in love and support is often easier to get a dream and target for his/her life, then with teachers' lead and help, and his/her own hard work, he/she will finally get a good performance on academic development.
