Where can I find tutorials to help me with ν•˜μ†Œμ„œμ²΄ verb conjugations? Where can I find tutorials to help me with ν•˜μ†Œμ„œμ²΄ verb conjugations? This is the style of verbs used often in the Korean Bible, and I'm finding it to be hard to understand mostly because I don't know how these verb conjugations work. For example, in John 1:1 (μš”ν•œλ³΅μŒ 1:1): νƒœμ΄ˆμ— 말씀이 κ³„μ‹œλ‹ˆλΌ 이 말씀이 ν•˜λ‚˜λ‹˜κ³Ό ν•¨κ»˜ κ³„μ…¨μœΌλ‹ˆ 이 말씀은 곧 ν•˜λ‚˜λ‹˜μ΄μ‹œλ‹ˆλΌ I understand the word part계 to be the same as the part of the word for goodbye: μ•ˆλ…•νžˆκ³„μ„Έμš”, meaning to stay or exist, which I think comes from κ³„μ‹œλ‹€. But I don't know what the μ‹œλ‹ˆλΌ part really means. Is this the past tense, so that this means "it existed"? If that's so, then what does κ³„μ…¨μœΌλ‹ˆ mean? The english version has this as "was". But I thoughtκ³„μ‹œλ‹ˆλΌ meant "was"? What is the difference, then, between κ³„μ…¨μœΌλ‹ˆ and κ³„μ‹œλ‹ˆλΌ? Then, the last word is μ΄μ‹œλ‹ˆλΌ, which I take to be the honorific ν•˜μ†Œμ„œμ²΄ version of 이닀 (to be), but with the honorific in-fix of μ‹œ embedded inside.
