I am very excited to help anyone learn a new language. As a teacher, I want to see my students gain not only the practical skills, but also the confidence to speak in English. Based upon the student's end goal, I will incorporate music, current events, readings, and homework. I believe "consistency is key" when it comes to learning a foreign language. My lessons are relaxed, practical, and focused on helping you communicate with confidence. I focus first on establishing a personalized plan for each student, based upon individual goals. I start with an introductory lesson where I assess your skill level and the resources I will need to use to develop a lesson plan suitable to your needs. I am prepared to help you no matter the end goal. I also speak a little Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese, so I understand what it’s like to learn a new language!
