Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, I am a certified ESOL instructor, actor, singer, and martial artist with a wide variety and interests and a passion for the many aspects of the English language. I returned to Canada in November 2020 after living overseas (primarily in Japan and China) for approximately a decade.Me as a Teacher
I am a certified Canadian ESOL instructor with over 15 years of experience. I am also an IELTS specialist and educational consultant who was based out of Japan for almost 9 years.
I have many years of experience teaching both children and adults, and have taught in private language schools, universities, corporate businesses, and online with companies in Japan, South Korea, China, Israel, and Saudi Arabia.
I have also been featured on numerous educational English language TV and radio programs in Japan, and was a co-editor of a successful IELTS textbook. My lessons & teaching style
I have always had a keen interest in all aspects of the English language, and I greatly enjoy sharing this passion for communication and expression with the people I work with. Whether it's Business English, Test Prep, or general Social English, I do whatever I can to help motivate, encourage, and build confidence in those seeking to further their language skills and reach their English goals.
I think personalization of each lesson and lesson plan is key, so I am always open to feedback and input from the learners themselves. The more relevant the sessions are to their immediate needs, the more we can accomplish!My teaching material
