My name is John and I am from the South West of England. Since 2009 I have been living and working in Queretaro Mexico. I enjoy meeting new people, talking and learning about new cultures. I also enjoy playing chess and have recently started coaching elementary school students.Me as a Teacher
I've been teaching for more than thirtee years. I started off working in a language skill and now work in an all boys school. I currently work in elementary school teaching children from the ages of six to tweleve, and have recently been promoted to the post of English coordinator. During my ten years at this school I've also taught teenagers from the ages of 13 to nineteen. I have taught adults in classrooms and also online. I have taught A1 level English all the way up to C2 level. I used to travel to different companies in the state of Queretaro to teach business English. I enjoy teaching and don't see myself doing anything else. Teaching can be challenging but also massively rewarding.My lessons & teaching style
I love meeting and talking to people from all over the world. In my classroom I really enjoy listening to students' points and views. The best way to learn a language is to use it. After all, a language is used to communicate. I encourage students to talk about a variety of topics and insist on students talking in complete sentences even at A1 level. If students are more advanced I will correct every error that is made, including grammar and pronunciation mistakes. This is a really good way to improve. My lessons will include articles to read and discuss.My teaching material

This is exactly what I was looking for! A great teacher. During the conversation he patiently corrected my mistakes. He suggested better constructions, correct phrases... The lesson was enjoyable and interesting. This was exactly what I was expecting. After the first trial lesson I decided immediately to carry on the classes.
