¡Hola! I’m John, a British English teacher with over 13 years of experience guiding students (A1–C2) worldwide—from young learners to professionals. Based in Querétaro since 2009, I specialize in conversational fluency and business English, blending real-world topics with cultural exchange. I’ve been teaching English for over 13 years. I started in a language school and now work in an all-boys elementary school, teaching students aged 6 to 12. I was recently promoted to English Coordinator. Over the past decade, I’ve also taught teenagers (13–19) and adults in both classroom and online settings. My experience ranges from A1 to C2 level learners. I’ve also delivered business English courses at companies across Querétaro. I’m passionate about teaching—it’s challenging but incredibly rewarding, and I can’t imagine doing anything else. My lessons & teaching style
I love connecting with people from around the world and believe the best way to learn a language is by using it. In my lessons, I encourage conversation and ensure students speak in full sentences—even beginners. With more advanced learners, I focus on correcting all grammar and pronunciation errors to help refine fluency. I often use articles as a base for reading and discussion, which helps expand vocabulary and build confidence through real-world topicsMy teaching material

It seems I’ve found my teacher. I really like the format of our interaction - I talk a lot during the lesson, and John gently corrects me. We discuss topics that are interesting to me (hope for John too :)))) and that I need to work on, and we learn new words. For the first time, I actually enjoy doing homework. Overall, it’s a definite recommendation.

This is exactly what I was looking for! A great teacher. During the conversation he patiently corrected my mistakes. He suggested better constructions, correct phrases... The lesson was enjoyable and interesting. This was exactly what I was expecting. After the first trial lesson I decided immediately to carry on the classes.
