Mario Rivero

Mario's lessons are well planned. I find him easy to talk to. We usually do a couple of exercises or play some kind of game to keep the conversation going. Mario is good at checking his student's understanding before moving on. He seems to have a lot of experience tutoring.

Mario is the best! He comes prepared to class and asks such great questions that get you talking about lots of different topics. I feel much more confident talking in Spanish now after all my classes with him and he’s also really funny and always brings good vibes - I fully recommend Mario!

I have already left a rave review for Mario, but I needed to add another one because he continually impresses me with his dedication and his teaching style. Last week I mentioned being confused about a specific word and idea, and so this week he came prepared with a whole lesson on this word! He went through each definition of the word, using slides he made with original sentences and giving plenty of examples. He made sure I fully understood everything and even when I had to switch to English to discuss how the definitions are similar/different to English, he understood everything I was saying. Another great lesson with Mario!
