My name is Lorena and I'm a Spanish professor. I have a B.A. in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language from University of Guanajuato. I really enjoy hiking, animals and nature. Also, I like to know curious facts, talking about traditions, customs of my culture and visual art, especially films.Me as a Teacher
I'm a very curious teacher, I'd like to know about your interests to help you learn while you have a good time. In my classes, I try to include activities about culture and history. I have a lot of curious facts about Mexico to share!
I have an intermediate level of English and Italian, so we can use these languages to communicate or solve questions, if needed.My lessons & teaching style
My classes are focused to practice your conversation, idioms, grammar and pronunciation with topics of your interest. I enjoy talking about history, culture and current events, but I can talk about anything you want! We will practice your conversation to detect grammar mistakes and correct them in no time, this way you will have a more natural and fluid Spanish.My teaching material

Lorena is an incredible tutor. Through our weekly meetings, my comfort and enjoyment speaking Spanish has grown exponentially. My initial goal was to become more fluent in conversation so I could serve Spanish-speaking patients. Lorena challenges me during sessions to use more complex grammatical concepts and vocabulary, but somehow our meetings feel relaxed. She has a breadth of knowledge in a diverse range of topics, so I can practice terms related to my profession, but also chat about personal life, politics, literature, and pets. Learning with Lorena has been the best investment I've made the past year.
