English literature graduate Hello my name is Bongeka Gumede but you are more than welcome to call me Bongi. I am a university graduate with a major in English Literature and I have a burning passion to share the love I have for English with others. I enjoy reading and I have a qualification in Journalism and Media Studies which enables to to understand conversational English through writing and academic writing as well. I believe in the art of communication and language is one of the most powerful tools we have at use to help us understand each other better and share our personal stories globally. As a teacher my job is to assist any learner in their English learning journey with patience, kindness and consistency. Hard work is the backbone to success in any field and likewise perseverance, therefore, I like to encourage my students to keep practicing their English vocabulary and to make mistakes in order to grow in learning. My lessons are centered around but are not exclusive to: - Punctuation -Articulation -Diction -Figures of Speech We look at topics such as food, music and travel to break down the learning experience and make it fun but we will also cover news and articles to improve reading abilities as well. My lessons are also flexible so should you feel like you would like to focus on a specific topic you are more than welcome to bring it to class. I enjoy engagement in the classroom so I want the lessons to be as conversational as possible especially for the learner so they feel more conf...
