I am an Indonesian native speaker based in Malang. Currently, I am working as an Indonesian language teacher in one of the best private universities in Indonesia. In addition, I have a background in English language teaching and I love to meet new people. I am a coffee lover who interests in sports especially football, traveling, and visits coffee shops across the globe.Me as a Teacher
Having a certificate in teaching the Indonesian language from the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia gives me an opportunity to become a professional teacher. I have experienced in teaching students from very diverse countries as well as different levels. My students came from many countries across the world such as Australia, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Ukraine, Italy, USA, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, Sierra Leone, Gambia, Tanzania, Egypt, etc. Moreover, I am an open and flexible person so I do like to have students of different ages (young learners and adult learners) and language levels (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced).My lessons & teaching style
I usually use some personalized and customized learning materials and methods to help the students attain their learning goals, especially in one-to-one teaching. Using context-based teaching approach will boost the students' understanding of the actual language used and giving them real experiences in learning the language. Learning with Dimas is always a great experience. He comes to every class well-prepared and explains things in a clear and understandable way. The lessons are fun and relaxed, which really helps me stay motivated. Dimas is patient and encouraging, and he adapts the lessons to suit my learning pace. I’ve made real progress in Indonesian and feel much more confident speaking. I truly recommend him as a tutor!

Guru Dimas gave me good feedback and guidance in the chat and I can use that later. He was very understanding when I had some trouble and encouraged me. We have a possible plan for the next lesson. I really enjoyed talking with him. He let me ask many questions which is important for my language development.

As a motivate self learner, I was able to use Dimas to correct things I had learned and to understand the inconsistencies I found in my own learning. He then gives me tasks and I learn around them to find more to discuss each class. This type of learning works well for my brain.

Guru Dimas is very patient. He waited sometimes while I struggled until I could say what I wanted to, but he also helped by supplying some vocabulary and expressions as I needed them. We had a very good discussion.
