Hello, my name is Robyn and I am from South Africa. I have recently graduated with a Bachelors degree in Fine Art. I am a native English speaker and have teaching experience with both children and adults. I am passionate about teaching and I hope to help you in anyway that you need. I am well educated and would love to talk to you about topics that interest you and learn about your background as a way of practicing your conversational English. If you are looking for a relaxed environment to grow your English skills and having interesting and informative conversations, I am confident we can work together to achieve your goals.

I am a kind and patient person, so you can expect a relaxed environment where you will feel comfortable to learn and safe to ask questions. The lessons will be informative and I will always make sure to assist you on whatever you request. We’ll go at your pace and center the lesson around your needs. It’s okay to make mistakes, my classroom is a space of no judgment, only encouragement. I am versatile and well educated. I’ll be able to help you with any aspect of the English language. Our lessons together will revolve around your needs and whatever you wish to cover. Whether it be practicing spelling, vocabulary, pronunciation or grammar, or relaxed conversation. I am here to help! My classroom will be a safe place where it's okay to make mistakes and ask any questions. I believe English is best learnt through continuous practice and I am incredibly patient in providing a space for you to do so. Even though I've only had one lesson with Robyn, I’m really impressed. She sent me materials in advance, which showed how prepared she is. During the lesson, she was patient, focused on my pronunciation, and addressed my specific challenges with English. She answered all of my questions thoroughly and made learning enjoyable. My daughter had her first lesson with Robyn today and she told me that she is simply fantastic. She has a natural gift for teaching and can explain what appear to be the most complex things in memorable and easy-to-digest gems. It is evident that she is passionate about teaching and well-prepared for the lesson. Despite the young of her age, she is more professional than many other English tutors in Italki. She is on time, communicates with the student and if it is a child she takes the time to communicate with the parent as well, explains in a way that you understand, and seems to genuinely care about her student. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to students of all levels. It is really worth trying out a lesson with her! Thank you Robyn for a great lesson today!

I just want to leave positive feedback! Lessons with Robyn are always light and friendly. If I don’t understand a word or a sentence, Robyn always explains everything patiently and clearly. I finally started to understand sentence structures in English! Thank you, Robyn!
