I am a Japanese who grew up in Japan. I love reading. I know a lot of beautiful Japanese words. I'd like to teach them to foreigners. I also like traveling abroad. It's a great pleasure for me to learn about foreign countries.
Studying foreign languages is fun, but hard. I would like to support students so that they can enjoy studying Japanese as much as possible.
I go to movies at least once a month. I like sports too. I play table tennis once or twice a week.
私は日本で育った日本人です。読書が大好きなので、美しい日本語をたくさん知っています。外国の方にも知ってほしいです。海外旅行も好きで、他の国を知ることは私にとって大きな喜びです。
外国語を学ぶのは楽しいですが、難しいです。学習者のみなさんが、できるだけ楽しく学べるようにしたいと思っています。。
映画は少なくても月に一度は見ます。スポーツも好きで、週に1，2度卓球をしています。Me as a Teacher
Before I became a Japanese teacher, I was an English teacher at Junior High School in Japan for 15 years.
I became interested in teaching Japanese after experiencing volunteer work. I like teaching and studying foreign languages.
Between 2020 and 2021, I taught Japanese in Vietnam. I really enjoyed teaching there.

I will listen carefully to student's request and decide on a curriculum. I would like to make a student speak and write as much as possible. To motivate a student, I would like to praise him/her as soon as I find his/her good point.

Thanks to Koizumi sensei, I passed the JLPT N3 on my first try - with a full score on the reading section!
When I first started taking lessons, I was planning to take N4. But after my first lesson, Koizumi sensei encouraged me to aim for N3. First, she helped me work through the entire 中級を学ぼう textbook, with lots of attention paid to understanding the reading passages and grammar points. She also recommended short writing exercises and provided valuable verbal and written feedback on my work, which greatly helped me improve my writing ability and grammar understanding. After finishing the textbook, we practiced many N3 questions together, with a focus on sections I was not confident in. We would consistently review questions I had missed previously to ensure I had understood my mistakes.
Because of Koizumi sensei's teaching and encouragement, I felt confident taking the N3, and I was able to pass by a wide margin. I am very grateful for her instruction!
