Preparation for Study Abroad, Conversation Practice and Customized Lessons Hi there, my name is Tosca and I am a native German speaker who was born and raised in Germany. I live in Stuttgart and study industrial engineering with a focus on media at university. Since i love to study languages myself, I have aquired a lot of study techniques over the years and I believe conversation practices is one of the best ways to improve and maintain language skills. Generally I'm interested in almost everything so we can talk about anything you would like. In my free time I like to read all kinds of literature, go outside, bake, crochet, study languages, paint and travel. -> I do not teach children/teens under 16 <- -> If I have a lesson with someone right after your lesson I will end the lesson 5 minutes ealier. Apart from that I will not make use of the break unless you need a break during a long lesson <- In out first lessons togehter I would like to get to know you. We can set your goals together and work out what you would like to focus on and what study methods we will use. But genereally I will mainly offer: - open conversations to practice speaking - look at Germany in a cultural context - working with media sources (short videos, pictures, articles, etc.) and discuss them - language games (cause learning a language is fun) - help with school assignments, presentations and essays - optional homework which we will discus in the next lesson - peparation for Chinese Natives who want to study in Germany

She put up with my absolute butchery of the language for 30 minutes, talked to me about what I wanted to do with German, recommended some customized things we can do to play to that interest. Looking forward to the next lesson.
