Hi! I am Saori, live in Hokkaido, Japan. My favorite activities are snowboarding, cycling, hiking, onsen and anime. Also love travel and love to learn something new. I am always hungry to know more, Let's talk and learn from each other:) I believe the best way to learn a language is through effective communication which helps to build your confidence and vocabulary and varied expressions. So you can feel comfortable when making conversation in the future. In our lesson, I will encourage you to speak a lot but also try to make sure your comfortableness. This was my very first trial lesson on iTalki and I’m so glad I picked a session with Saori-san! She’s got such a warm personality and made me feel comfortable even though I’m super self-conscious about my Japanese conversation skills. I like that she types phrases I stumble over / had trouble expressing for reference and review, and am looking forward to more classes with her!

Another great lesson with Saori-sensei! Thanks to her, I had a great time in Japan! I only used my translation app a few times, and I was able to have great conversations with locals throughout Japan.
