Learning a new language is hard and scary! I know, I'm right there with you! I have a lot of friends who study Japanese. Seeing them learning Japanese made me want to help them, so I decided to become a teacher. I know how frustrating it is to not be able to say what you want to say in a different language. I'm very grateful for Saki san and my classes with her. My primary goal is speaking practice and Saki san is just so incredibly patient with me, even as I am clumsily bumbling my way through a sentence. I really appreciate her warmth, kindness, and ability to take everything in stride when I interject with a random question or bail partway through something I'm saying.
