I am a vibrant, lively and calm person. I love making jokes and having meaningful conversations. I always have a topic to talk about. I love reading books on Sundays, taking walks, listening to jazz, pretending to be a chef in the kitchen as well as occasionally watching cartoons with my little sister. I am a communication sciences student and I find it very easy to use my communication skills in the outside world. I like learning about other countries and cultures as well as teaching other people about my cultures. I am multilingual and I speak all eleven languages in South Africa. I have been tutoring since I was in High School thus, I feel confident that the students and I will get alongMe as a Teacher
I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Sciences; which has already elevated my communication skills and has equipped me with the resources to understand a student’s learning needs - with my skills, I can quickly detect a student’s lack, strength and weakness for improvement. I am patient and I am also a good listener. I try to always have the student’s best interest at heart. I am not only a teacher but a coach or mentor - I strive to always help shape academic goals and to be dedicated to getting the students to achieve them. I have had the opportunity to teach over a thousand of students in the past years and it was a delight to see them accomplish their learning goals.My lessons & teaching style
My teaching styles combine methodologies to create engaging, student-centered language learning. *CLT* focuses on real-life communication, while *TBL* uses tasks to promote authentic language use and critical thinking. *CLIL* integrates language with subject content, and the *Lexical Approach* emphasizes vocabulary in chunks. *Dogme ELT* prioritizes conversation with minimal reliance on textbooks, and *TPR* links language to physical actions. The *Silent Way* fosters autonomy, *Suggestopedia* enhances motivation, and the *Eclectic Approach* adapts methods to learner needs. *Blended Learning* integrates technology for flexibility and self-directed study.My teaching material
