About Me

I'm Pamella from South Africa. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Investment Management and Banking. I am also TESOL certified. I have been teaching English online for four years. I love seeing my students improve, I love learning about different cultures, talking to people from different parts of the world and I also love traveling. I'm easy-going, very patient and a good listener. I'm currently learning a new language, so I understand the challenges that come about when learning a different language.

Me as a Teacher

I have been teaching English online for four years. I have taught English to a lot of students from all around the world. My lessons are fun and a mix of reading, writing, spelling, listening and speaking with a focus on conversation. I tailor the lessons according to my students needs to focus on any skills that would need improvement. I do this by breaking down ideas in a way that makes it easy for the students to comprehend.

My lessons & teaching style

I'm a friendly, approachable, relaxed and a caring teacher. My teaching style can be described as interactive, supportive and transparent. I encourage my students to have a voice in the classroom, ask questions when they come up, and participate actively in all conversations regardless of their level of confidence.
