Taewon 선생님 is the really really amazing. You will feel the time flies fast, and he encourage you to try, mix and practice in your own mind. There are several things I really appreciate and recommend Taewon 선생님. He has a deep understanding of Korean, and also Chinese, that helps you understand the origin of Korean words and how it shared within the cultural root of Ancient China. That explain a lot of Hanja using in Korean and how we understand it.
And the way he teach is fun to learn but also explain the grammar and vocabulary in details.
Taewon 선생님 is a genius, we often talked in Korean mixing English, but he's doing so great on English and Chinese as well. I've been studying with him for several months, and highly recommend him to whoever want to start learning Korean!!!

After trying different tutors, I’ve come to really appreciate Taewon’s structured and analytical approach. His lessons focus on the logic and depth of Korean, which is exactly what intermediate and advanced learners need. After 3 years and more than 80 lessons, I can say he offers insights that are hard to find elsewhere. If you’re looking for more than just casual conversation, this is a great place to learn.

While studying with Taewon we have analyzed complex texts, including children’s literature, focusing on linguistic nuance and structural depth—something that requires true expertise to guide effectively. If you are an ambitious learner seeking a deeper, more analytical understanding of Korean beyond standard conversation practice, his lessons offer a level of insight that is genuinely hard to find.

Another good lesson. He gives me homework to write about different topics in Korean, we then go through the written homework where i have to read and explain. Sometime he asks additional questions to test my speaking skills. I really feel as if I am improving my written and spoken Korean.
