Hello ! I am Joy, a French language and literature teacher since 2019. I am also a student at Sorbonne University in Paris where I am working on a master's degree. Two years of giving sessions on italki has been a true pleasure where I have been able to meet people from all over the world. I am looking forward meeting new learners !

JoyMe as a Teacher
Teaching has always been a true passion for me. I have students from all levels, all ages. I consider COMMUNICATION AS A KEY to optimal benefit and learning. The teacher needs to work on his message-transmission strategy, and the learner has to mention his weaknesses and strengths. It's all about team work !My lessons & teaching style
The first session is the most important part of the process : it makes me evaluate the learner in my own way and put the first objectives to reach.
After this session, a personalized program is settled and discussed with the learner in order to make sure he is comfortable with the method.
After a serie of 10 sessions, another evaluation session is done.
Every session is divided into two parts : the theory and the application. (This can depend on the learner and the objectives also). The learner activeness is an important key, that's why, the learner isn't a passive spectator but an active actor who completes the teacher work during the session.My teaching material
