I am a qualified TEFL teacher and native English speaker with over 11 years of experience teaching and tutoring in-person and online. this includes classroom teaching (children 3-11), group teaching, and 1 on 1 tutoring. I have taught English, mathematics, science, chess, economics, and writing. I have lived in four different countries and I'm an expert at communicating with people from different cultures who speak different languages.

I think that teaching should be fun, exciting, and engaging but also demanding rigorous, and with super-high expectations. I have endless time for excellent students and would hate to think that anyone left my classes without being an excellent user of English. My elementary school students could all speak English fluently, write coherent stories and essays in English and understand grammar terms and patterns. I use TPR for younger children along with gamification and multimedia. My lessons & teaching style
I like to include games and activities in my classes as well as general conversations, grammar, and writing. I speak at a normal pace and you'll get used to it and be able to communicate in real life. I write materials and apps for students when they need them. I use online quizzes, worksheets, videos, and games. I even made my own YouTube channel when students needed it during lockdown (https://youtu.be/pfBJSYublx8).

My son has taken Matt's classes for months. Teacher Matt is a highly experienced educator with a great passion for teaching. Whenever he conducts a class, he always puts in his best effort to motivate the students and easily captures their attention. He is very skilled in teaching and often quickly pinpoints the key issues in a child's learning, helping them make progress. Additionally, if there are any specific teaching requirements, he carefully prepares his lessons and adapts the content into something children can easily understand before delivering it. My son really enjoys Teacher Matt's classes, and now Teacher Matt has become one of his favorite teachers. He always looks forward to the lessons.
