Hi my name is Andrea, and I am a native English speaker. I'm Indonesian-New Zealander and I grew up in New Zealand where I completed my Junior High, High School and University studies. I also have work experience in New Zealand in the Retail, Hospitality and Banking industries. I would describe myself as empathetic, warm, and welcoming and a great communicator with people of different ages and all walks of life. I love seeing the world and I love traveling. Additionally, I have been on a cultural exchange to Italy and also a student exchange in Spain. I enjoy learning different cultures, I love music, movies, beauty, and even cooking. However I’m also ready to talk about anything in general!Me as a Teacher
I am passionate about teaching English, but especially to see the development of each student. It is very fulfilling and gratifying to me to know if I have helped you in any way to improve your English. Through conversation, I am capable of identifying areas of improvement and assist you in achieving your goals. I am currently teaching at a local English Language Institute in Jakarta, Indonesia - where I teach English to students from ages 11-16.My lessons & teaching style
I always adjust my teaching method with every student as each one has their own pace, ways of learning and unique challenges. I believe a balanced learning environment is important to establish a holistic, well-rounded learning process. I incorporate different styles and methods of teaching, this includes reading, listening, writing, some games, and also quizzes to keep it engaging and interesting!My teaching material
