I'm a French native speaker and I travelled around the world for 1 year. I went to many different countries from North America and latin America. I also spent some times in Australia and China. I like outdoor activities and learning languages so I can teach you a good informal and business French I like to meet new people and I'm currently focusing on music.

Me as a Teacher

I have been teaching in Italki for 5 years now and I have also taugth music or maths. I am passionate about learning and teaching is a real pleasure. I think that someone passionate can learn everything.

My lessons & teaching style

I use many different materials and I adapt to the students needs. Some classes are focused on practice while others are a mixed of grammar. I try not to teach grammar too much as I want the student to hear and speak as much French as possible. I am now trying to use Machine Leaning and AI to add a new level to my classes using NLP to give students more advices.

What a great lesson! Our conversation involved a couple of interesting topics that flowed quite smoothly. It was a natural conversation wherein I felt at ease. Teacher Valou is welcoming and encouraging and fills in all the gaps with the knowledge you need to improve your speaking skills. Highly recommended!
