Hi, my name is Klaus. I am 38 years old and I am from Vienna (Austria). After my geography study at the university, I did my bachelor degree of education at the University College of Teacher Education in Vienna. My subjects are German and Geography. In 2018 I studied one semester at the university in Granada (Spain). From 2018-2021 I worked as a German Teacher in a Middle School in Vienna. At the moment I live in Turin (Italy) and work as a Teacher (German as a foreign language) at different school types, the Goethe-Institut and at the ESCP business school. In my free time, I spend time in the mountains around Torino (backcountry skiing, mountaineering, climbing) or on my mountainbike.
I am a responsible-minded, enthusiastic and flexible teacher with a good sense of humour. I participated in many different language courses, which gave me the possibility to see the things from the student's perspective. I know how challenging it is to learn a new language. I got to know which contents and methods I want to include in my teaching approach and which contents are improvable.
It makes a lot of fun to teach German to other people. It is always interesting to see students improving their skills. To learn a new language can mean also to share interests, cultural facts (music, food,...), actual topics or other moments with people. Communication and interaction!

Prüferzertifikat Goethe-Institut - Goethe-Institut - 2025Dieses Zertifikat berechtigt mich, die Abnahme und Bewertung von Goethe-Zertifikatsprüfungen als Prüfer durchzuführen.
Um dieses Zertifikat zu bekommen, musste man eine Prüfung absolvieren. Bei dieser Prüfung musste man Prüfungen (A1, A2, B1, B2 und C1 korrigieren, bewerten und benoten. Alle Sprachniveaus (A1-C1) beinhalteten die die Module (Schreiben, Hören, Lesen und Sprechen).

I was not really happy to pay for the lesson which we never had due to the teacher‘s busy schedule. I do understand that unforeseen circumstances can sometimes disrupt schedules, but communication is key in such situations.
