Полина (Polina)

Polina is friendly, patient, professional and great at explaining lessons. She creates lessons that are well structured to help learn the topic efficiently, and throughout the lesson there are interesting questions and exercises to reinforce the topic. I appreciate the effort she puts into making these lessons, especially the pictures and artwork on the slides. I highly recommend this teacher, and my Russian has improved significantly because of her classes.

I've been taking lessons with Polina for months now and she's fantastic. I came in with a strange and difficult to determine speaking level in Russian, but she was willing to work with me anyway and I have gotten so much better in such a short period of time! I was barely conversational, now I am confident that I can convey my meaning in most topics we discuss. She explains grammar very well, makes learning enjoyable and memorable, and she is incredibly responsive to me as a student. If she hears me making a specific grammar mistake, that becomes the focus of our next lesson. That is a super special thing in a teacher. I think Polina is awesome and I would- and have- recommended her to other people :)

Polina is a fantastic teacher! She is very encouraging, kind and methodical. I am very bad at speaking in Russian but I don’t feel embarrassed at all with her. She meets you at the level you are and makes lessons according to your skill level.I am learning a lot! :)

Very great lesson!

Polina is an amazing teacher who caters her lesson plans to nearly any level of Russian. As a proficient heritage speaker, I have had a lot of trouble finding a teacher who helps me with my specific insufficiencies. Polina was the first teacher that did so and my Russian has grown significantly through my lessons with her.

Lessons with Polina are truly outstanding! Each session is tailored to my needs and consistently builds on the material from previous lessons. Today’s lesson was particularly remarkable, as I was able to connect everything we’ve been learning over the past nine months into one cohesive session. Polina’s teaching style has been instrumental in my progress, and I always look forward to our lessons!
