Hello! I'm Tema, an enthusiastic English Language Teacher from Swaziland, a small country led by a king with 16 wives. Since July 2024, I've been an active Italki teacher dedicated to connecting with people through language. With over two years of teaching experience, I bring a unique blend of creativity and empathy to every lesson.
My teaching journey has been shaped by a deep love for cultural exchange, which has broadened my appreciation for diverse cultures and languages. When I'm not in the classroom, you'll find me immersed in a good book.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of teaching English to a diverse group of students, with a particular focus on young learners. I have designed engaging lessons that make language learning enjoyable and effective for children, helping them develop a strong foundation in English.
Additionally, I have guided many students in improving their conversational English, enabling them to communicate fluently and confidently in everyday situations. To date, I have mentored over 100 students, enhancing their communication skills and fostering love for the language.

TEFL Certificate - Teacher Record - 2022I was required to complete different topics in order to be be able to teach English to foreigners and now I am able to teach English efficiently and well.
Diploma in Primary education - Ngwane Teachers College - 2017For this certificate I was required to learn how to teach kids all subjects in primary school. This is from the age six to thirteen. This certificate enable me to teach kids who are between the age of six to thirteen.
Teaching experience
2019 - 2021
TeacherI was a grade 3 teacher. I was responsible for teaching, Mathematics, English, Science and Social studies. I was also responsible for recording the register, marking and grading students work and also providing feedback to students. I was able to create lesson plans and teaching material for students such as flashcards.
2022 - 2023
English TeacherI was responsible for teaching Conversational /English to adults and children on the amazing talker platform. My focus was mainly on teaching Conversational English. This included grammar, articulation and pronunciation. I was also responsible for providing constructive feedback to learners.

2017 - 2020
Other - Applied Sciences.A Diploma in Teaching. This is a teaching diploma, that allows a teacher to teach all Subjects taught in primary school.
Work Experience
2019 - 2020
Teacher.I was focusing on Language and Literature. We were able to analyze and right more on poetry and books. Learners were able to analyze on their own and write on their own.

Temar is a thoughtful and attentive teacher.
She always takes the time to prepare her lessons and materials in advance.
During class, she listens carefully and doesn’t interrupt to correct grammar mistakes — instead, she kindly writes the correct sentences in the chat so I can review and learn from them later.
Her teaching style is clear, gentle, and especially supportive for beginners like me.
