My lessons are for intermediate and advanced learners who want to speak more clearly, naturally, and confidently in everyday or professional situations. I provide a relaxed, judgment-free environment and tailor every lesson to your goals and learning style. In American accent and pronunciation lessons, we build a strong foundation through about 20 core topics, including sounds, word stress, rhythm, linking, intonation, and speech clarity. We then apply these skills through conversation, presentations, reading, and real-life speaking practice. Fluency lessons can be structured, informal, or a combination of both. We might begin with natural conversation and finish with targeted vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, or professional communication practice. I also have a background in International Business and public speaking, so I can help you prepare for meetings, interviews, presentations, and workplace conversations. As an intermediate-high Mandarin speaker, I understand the challenges of learning another language, although lessons are conducted in English for full immersion. Homework is optional as my goal is to make learning practical, flexible, supportive, and enjoyable.
