I have been out of practice for a while for personal reasons and was actually quite nervous about my upcoming class,but Hide Sensei’s calming and encouraging vibe has helped motivate me continue working on my Japanese,many times just as I’m about to give up.He’s a great teacher for all levels and I’d highly recommend him😁本当にありがとございます！

Hide-san is the best teacher I've ever had. He's kind, patient, and fun, and I've learned so much over the past year thanks to him - I could not ask for better!

Recently I had some serious hearing problems which is causing massive brain fog and fatigue,and am super frustrated that the Japanese language switch in my brain is refusing to light up😅I almost cancelled this class because I was really exhausted and had to return to my job,but am really grateful for my Japanese teacher’s kindness and professionalism which helped make this class surprisingly enjoyable😁 I’ve not written a proper review in a while but wanted to give a shout out to Hide-San who is an amazing teacher!Very appreciative of his patience as I was very forgetful and struggled a lot.Hide-San slowed down the pace for me and also let me speak more English as an exception without making me feel like giving up on Japanese😂Highly recommend him and thanks!

I asked Hide to specifically aim the class towards conversation practice. And so each of our sessions involves talking about life, then bringing up turns of phrase or grammar and new vocabulary. and then he makes a small practice to review in our own time. The class is accompanied by a running document of everything we've worked on together. and his class style is helpful, interesting and cheerful. i really enjoy our classes together. so much so that I've had my husband join us as a group class. we both need the practice :D
