I have been working as a teacher since 2009 and have lived in Turkey, China, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and now Slovakia. I specialize in IELTS/PTE/OET/TOEFL and other exams but I can also help with general English, conversation, grammar, and vocabulary development.
My background is in History and Politics, and I hold BA and MA/MRes degrees in both those subjects as well as in Applied Linguistics. I also hold several teaching certificates for TEFL, etc.

My lessons are based on a thorough initial assessment of the learner, and I adapt my teaching accordingly, to the student's needs, learning style, and what the outcome of the lesson is.

We had a great intro call about IELTS prep. Kevin asked about my English level, goals, and what I’m looking for. He explained how he teaches, shared some materials, and laid out a clear plan for what I should do next. He also gave me a study plan template I can adjust to fit my schedule.
