Hello! I come from Lanzhou, China, a historic city along the ancient Silk Road with rich cultural roots. As a Chinese teacher, I love teaching and sharing my passion for Chinese language and culture. I'm also deeply interested in exploring classical poetry, historical stories, and the fascinating evolution of Chinese characters.

I hold a degree in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language and the National Mandarin Certificate, building a strong foundation in language education.
I have taught HSK 4–5 students, helping them discuss social topics and improve natural expression. I also guide beginners through interactive games, helping children learn 200+ characters in six months while building confidence.
My lessons integrate language with culture in engaging ways—like exploring tea culture when learning the character 茶—so students learn meaningfully and vividly.

I have some experience with Mandarin, but haven't practiced in a while. The teacher came prepared based on what I requested and she adjusted the class as she learnt more about my level. I felt comfortable speaking and the class went by really fast. She was friendly, professional and patient! Highly recommend!
