I was born and raised in France: I started learning English at 8 years old, I picked up Spanish at 12 and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Languages "Magna Cum Laude". I have been studying Japanese as an autodidact for 5 years, and I also dabble in Italian. I have a Master's degree (in Wine and Spirits Management) which allowed me to travel around the world.
I have been living in the US for 4 years, working in a winery as a Tour Guide/Wine Educator, so I am used to sharing my knowledge with people from a wide variety of backgrounds. I have a passion for learning and sharing, always with a smile!Me as a Teacher
As French is my native language, and as I am living in the US, I will be able to help you improve any aspect of the language that you wish to work on! My approach is intuitive: I will adapt the lesson to your needs. We can discuss your objectives together and take it from there. I am very patient, passionate and I will try my very best to share my love for languages with you!
The most important thing to improve, in my opinion, is to practice. The more we chat, the better you will become! You need to make mistakes to learn, so it does not matter if you struggle with some things: any little hiccup is an opportunity to learn.My lessons & teaching style
I usually start by assessing your level on our first session, and from there, I can curate to your objectives: my favorite tool to use is Google Docs for feedback.
My goal is to ensure that you feel confident enough to express yourself in French, so I will take note of the things that can be improved but I will avoid interrupting you in the middle of a sentence (except if you ask for my help, to find a word for example!). Also, I LOVE questions so you can feel free to ask away!!!
**CANCELLATION POLICY**
Lessons cancelled with less than 2 hours notice will be charged for as it is not possible to offer the time to another student. Students who do not turn up for the lesson will be charged.My teaching material
