About Me

Hello! My name is Emmah, and I am from South Africa. I enjoy watching movies, cooking and trying new dishes. I currently work as a Financial Administrator, but teach English online part-time. I am also TEFL certified, and hold a 120-hour TEFL certificate. I look forward to talking with you to practice pronunciation, speaking skills, or just converse about interesting topics and news. I hope to chat with you soon!

Me as a Teacher

I am reliable and dedicated. My lessons are always lively and beneficial to my students. I am also patient, polite and strive to work through things in a caring and encouraging way with my students. I also strive to remain approachable, as I want my students to feel that I am always encouraging and supportive.

My lessons & teaching style

I would describe my lesson and teaching style as results driven. I always try to clearly define the goals with each of my students, what they expect from me and what they want to achieve. Once that is determined, I can then come up with a plan for their lessons, including some milestones in order to evaluate our progress regularly.
