About Me

My name is Fumi, and though I’m from Japan, I see myself as a true global citizen! I’m passionate about reading, yoga, and exploring new places. I’ve traveled around the world twice, lived in Mexico for two years and worked as a digital nomad. My international experiences help me connect with people from all backgrounds. I have taught Japanese to some of my friends while I was in Mexico.
Since I enjoyed teaching Japanese, I decided to become a Japanese teacher.
Not only teaching Japanese language itself but I can tell the Japanese culture which is quite unique!

I can teach a basic Japanese or do the casual conversation.
I am really patient so even you speak slow, it does not matter! Practice makes perfect!
That is how I studied Spanish.

Today, I completed the writing course and I am more confident reading and writing both hiragana and katakana. I was doing self-study, but going through this class gave me the ability to remember the characters clearly. I highly recommend this course!

Great lesson, in this lesson we should have continued with reading Haruki Murakami book, but we have talked so much it was no time for book! So much to tell each other. It was 2 weeks ago since we have last lesson.

Today we finished the conditionals. Although it is difficult topic I think it is now clearer for me thanks to sensei. I also received some study materials from sensei to help me study. Very enjoyable lesson as always. I am looking forward to the next one.
