Hello, hello!
- I’m Maryam from Columbus, Ohio, USA
- I studied comparative literature and focused on Russian literature. I also have an honors degree in Islamic Studies, which I had to study Arabic for, and I am now an MA student of Political Science and International Relations in Istanbul, Turkiye.
- My goal is to be a professor and translator of academic books someday. And to write kids books :)
- Beyond the academic world, I enjoy learning about cultures, languages, and history.
- I truly cherish teaching children. Developing young minds is our most important project in this world!
- I have a cat named Maple. She may say hello 😸
If you are afraid of speaking to a native English speaker, don’t worry! I am very patient, and I have a LOT of experience in speaking with people from all over the world with various English levels.
My favorite students are: university professors, kids and moms, and anyone with some good stories to tell.
