Hi everyone, my name is Paul. I come from a small town called Znojmo in the Czech republic. I currently live in Birmingham, the United Kingdom. I recently graduated from University in Birmingham, so I am fluent in English and Czech.
I worked for two years in Education as a Student Mentor and always enjoyed learning new languages and meeting new people during my travels.
So I have decided to do what I genuinely enjoy: introducing language to other people and helping them improve their current language skills.Me as a Teacher
I discovered my passion for teaching during my university experience as Student Mentor, which required me to work with international students who often needed guidance and help with the English language. I have worked with students of different abilities; some required more help than others.
I am friendly and supportive, and we will work on improving your Czech language skills!My lessons & teaching style
My learning style is to set up learning around students' needs - because why would I teach you something you don't want to know, right? I believe that one of the best ways to learn a language is through conversation, but we can practice grammar, pronunciation and other aspects too.
In the first lesson, I will evaluate your current language skills, and we will set your goals and aims. Then we can plan our lessons further.My teaching material

I've just had my first Czech lesson with Paul. I had a chance to use my very limited knowledge of the language and Paul was very patient and encouraging. He helped me with grammar and vocabulary. The lesson was tailored to my level and my needs. I'm looking forward to having another lesson with Paul. I already booked the package!

I like how Paul is open to talking about just about any topic during lessons. It always feels like I'm just speaking Czech with a good friend, having a good time. At the same time, Paul is one of those great teachers who's always working in new words and phrases to expose me to more advanced vocabulary and sentence structures during our conversation. It's all very seamless. I love his style.
