Hello! My name is Helena, I'm a native English speaker from Canada who just returned home after living in Türkiye for 2 years. Teaching English allows me to help others do the things that I love such as travelling, meeting new people, and learning! I enjoy sports and outdoor activities such as rock climbing, snowboarding, and hiking. I also enjoy learning other languages and am currently learning Persian. My goal is to provide an interactive lesson where I coach you in English grammar, vocabulary, literacy, and conversational speech that will help you sound like a native speaker. We will use courses and conversation topics that help you practice what you already know and build your knowledge, skills, and confidence.
