I have been doing lesson with Kiko Sensei for 3 months now, 4 times a week. She is very thoughtful and caring and tailored the class to my needs. She was very accommodating and extremely patient even with a slow learner like me! I highly recommend her as a teacher because you will learn so much from her and she will be very thoughtful and caring with you!

We had a great class today, started off with free time talking about our interests, working holiday, languages… we then moved on to talking about words related convenient stores and supermarkets. Kiko sensei can ready with slides and I was able to learn new words/expressions from the class.

Another fun lesson, there was free time at the start to talk about what we did in the past week, and then I learnt words/phrases used when taking a taxi in Japan. Kiko sensei gave me lots of time to think about what to say, and I was able to ask for words as a last resort. Look forward to the next lesson! :)

I am really enjoying my lessons with Kiko-san! I really feel like my conversational skills are improving. Kiko-san is diligent in gently correcting me when I get things wrong so that I can fix my mistakes, and we never seem to run out of things to talk about, which makes the lessons really fun.

As usual Kiko sensei has delivered a great class. We talked a lot about what we did in the past week, and then moved on to taking about how to ask for direction in Japanese, with the aid of slides prepared by sensei. I sometimes struggle for words as a beginner, but sensei was kind enough to give me lots of time to think and encouraged me to speak. Overall a great lesson! ありがとうございました^ ^
