こんにちは〜！私はタカです。人生の半分は東京で過ごしてファッションの仕事をしてたんですけど今、地元の東北に戻って農業を勉強してるんですよ。もちろん、私もみなさんと同じで語学の勉強も好きで英語とスペイン語を勉強してるんですよね！ファッションのこと、ラーメンのことは皆さんにいいアドバイスが出来ると思いますよ。それに私は幅広い年齢層のお客様を接客した経験がありますから忍耐強く、あなたの話を最後まで聞ける「いい聞き手」だと思いますよ。
Hello everyone, my name is Taka. I spent half of my life in Tokyo working in the fashion industry. Now I’m back in my hometown in the Tohoku region, studying agriculture. Of course, just like you, I also love learning languages, so I’m studying English and Spanish.
I believe I can give you good advice about fashion and even about ramen! I also have experience serving customers of all ages, which has made me patient and a good listener who can hear you out until the very end.Me as a Teacher
Do you enjoy chatting? If so, you’ll quickly improve your Japanese and be a great fit for lessons with me. But even if you get nervous and find speaking difficult, that’s absolutely no problem. Over many years in the fashion industry, I’ve listened to customers of all ages, and I want to hear your stories and have you talk a lot during our lessons.
The goal of our lessons isn’t just to speak well with me. The most important thing is to enjoy conversations with **other Japanese people**, right? That’s what I’m here to fully support you with. Also, I’d love to teach you some of the “ways of speaking that make people like you” that I learned through my customer service experience. My lessons & teaching style
If you want to study Japanese in an academic, in-depth way, my lessons may not be the right fit. In that case, I recommend a teacher who specializes in that approach.
My lessons are conversation-focused above all else. I don’t focus on what is “correct” or “wrong,” but on whether expressions are natural for native Japanese speakers. Through free conversation, you’ll learn living Japanese: natural rhythm, expressions actually used in daily life, and real conversation.
As my students often say, the lessons are fun and full of laughter, and in this enjoyable atmosphere, you’ll develop the ability to speak naturally and confidently with Japanese people — as an equal.My teaching material

I'm coming up on 200 lessons with Taka-san and have enjoyed every one! I still look forward to each lesson and feel that I have improved a lot since I began lessons with him. Taka-san is very easy to get along with, he has a relaxed style and guides you to speaking natural Japanese like a native. You will need to expose yourself to natural Japanese because everyday spoken Japanese is not what is taught in textbooks. Taka-san does a great job of guiding you to speak naturally and shows you how Japanese conversations normally flow. He will guide you to the correct words and phrases to use. He is constantly reminding me about 'aizuchi', or the short responses/phrases you need to use to ensure the speaker knows you are listening, because I always forget. I understand so much more conversational Japanese after taking lessons with Taka-san. You won't regret taking a lesson with Taka-san, that's why I keep doing it!
