I’ve taken around 80 lessons with Yris, and my Spanish has improved a ton throughout my lessons with her. When I first started, I could barely put together a full sentence. But Yris met me exactly where I was and made the lessons feel comfortable and fun even when speaking felt really intimidating. She is incredibly warm, patient, and easy to connect with. She also creates an environment where you don’t feel embarrassed to make mistakes. As I’ve improved, our lessons have evolved. Now our classes feel like natural conversations which is exactly the kind of practice I need as I get more comfortable using Spanish in real situations. She still corrects me and helps me sound more natural, but the lessons never feel stressful or forced. I’m incredibly grateful I found Yris. She is a great teacher and an awesome person. I’d absolutely recommend her to anyone who wants to improve their Spanish!

Maestra Yris is an awesome teacher. I love the fact that she makes all the lessons enjoyable, clear and understandable.
