Aya🇯🇵

Aya-san is a wonderful teacher and conversationalist. I have had two lessons with her and plan on continuing to meet with her regularly. She is great at adapting to the student's needs and learning style, while maintaining an enjoyable and interesting exchange.

My lessons with Aya have been great. She is willing to either let you choose what to talk about or if you don't have a direction in mind she will ask you everyday questions and help you answer them. When I make mistakes, she is good about pointing them out and explaining what it should be and why.

I really enjoyed my lesson with Aya-san! We did a conversational lesson, and I appreciated how the conversation flowed really freely with Aya-san, yet she kindly took the time to correct me when I made grammatical mistakes. I felt like I learned something and also really enjoyed the discussion!

The teacher was approachable but I was caught by surprise that the class was only 45 minutes even though I booked a 60 minute class. 😞

Aya Sensei has helped me a lot with my grammar and pronunciations and she’s always so patient and encouraging. I’ve really enjoyed having conversations with her. I’d also recommend reading Japanese blogs with Aya Sensei if you’re going into intermediate level as it really helps to expand your vocab + enhance reading skills. You can tell her what topics you as well.

Aya was very friendly and easy to talk to. I think for free-talk conversations we will definitely meet again. Thank you!
